I'll do some testing later and report back if it all looks good. I've tried almost everything I can think of besides a fresh OS install, but I'll gladly switch back to Afterburner before I do that. However, I can't get the hardware monitor to work properly and Precision is causing stuttering in games. I wanted to give it a shot since I my 1080 Ti was an SC Black and not a FTW so I didn't have the extra ICX features. I just got my card yesterday and Precision X1 has been nothing but a headache unfortunately. Youve got many options to adjust the CPU fan speed through software, like MSI Afterburner, SpeedFan, and other manufacturer-specific motherboard control panels. This is excellent news and I will be giving this a try on my FTW3 after work today. So if you are looking to control all 3 fans with the same curve, you can do so with MSI AB. The the RPM amounts do match in both software which is good. example is when you go to 90% on MSI, it reads around 80 on EVGA. The good news is the delta between the two gets smaller. You can set it up to keep your GPU at its idle temperature, or you can make it spin faster to cool it down quicker for benchmarking runs. Example when I set MSI AB Fan to 50%, it reads out 25% on EVGA X1. Fan Curve is a feature in MSI’s Afterburner graphics card overclocking utility, which enables the adjustment of the fan to match your desired temperature. TheGuz4L Update for anyone that is interested in using MSI Afterburner with their 3080: The (3) FTW3 fans can be controlled in MSI afterburner! The only strange issue I ran into is that the fan % in MSI afterburner does not match EVGA.
